Volunteer on
Thursday Evenings
Volunteers gather at Christ Church Troy United Methodist (aka Red Door Church) located at 35 State Street in Troy, NY each Thursday at 4:30 pm to begin setting up our distribution site.
We start serving friends at 6:00 pm.
We welcome anyone who would like to join us and help with our distribution. Read on to learn more about joining us in person or how you can help from home.
Donate Items from Our Weekly Needs List
We post our weekly needs signups every Friday evening here on our website and on Facebook every Saturday morning.

"Claim" items from our list that you can provide then drop them off at our distribution site on Thursday, or make alternate arrangements to get your purchases to us for distribution.

Keep an eye out for postings relating to special or seasonal needs...

Drop Off Procedures
When dropping off hot or cold trays of food: please deliver hot trays 4:30 - 5:00pm and park in front of the church on State Street. We will have cones with lights to pull up and park.

When dropping off pantry items to fill our tables: please deliver pantry items 4:30 - 5:45pm and park on side of the church on 5th Avenue heading south. This is a one way street, therefore use caution... you will need to drive to Sixth Avenue, onto Broadway, turn left onto 5th. You will see United Methodist Church on the corner on the right side just past the parking garage. We will have cones with lights, please pull up and park to unload. We will have some runners to help!
